This was going to be my Meri Kurisumasu post. But something else happened.
What do you say when a relative passes away? FML has become too dangerously ingrained in us cos when I was typing this out, my first instinct was to add FML. But that’s wrong cos it’s not my life. And FHL is worse.
Ok sorry I’m terrible at this. If only everything could be turned back to normal with a joke.

My deepest condolences to Uncle David and his family. I was at the wake just now, saw your mother there. Uncle David was such a down-to-earth neighbour, his sudden death has saddened us here. When I reach home from work everyday, I always see him sittin on the stone chair playin sudoku or chit-chattin away with the neighbours. Now I no longer can greet him, hear his jokes and laugh )’: The last time we spoke was a few days ago, he said to me ‘Wah, just came back but now goin out again aer? tsk tsk tsk “ho liao” huh?’ I would definitely be missin him much especially when I reach home from work )’:
