I like to move it move it

So ironic that I start exercising regularly only after I got pregnant.

I now exercise at least twice a week!  I signed up for special pregnant ladies exercise classes so twice a week I drag myself out of bed to go okay!

First class is called Pregnancy Stretch and Tone which is something like yoga but tailored for pregnant mommies.  A lot of it is aimed at toning pelvic muscles for easier birthing and to prevent uhhh incontinence.  Ahem.

The second class is Pregnancy Fit Ball which is cardio and toning with those big bouncing balls which are lower impact and therefore suitable for mommies to be.

I don’t particularly like exercising but it’s for a good cause – my body, health, stamina, easier delivery – so I force self to do lo.

But here’s how it can be a good cause for more than just yourself.

The Rexona Move Social Campaign.

Ie. being active for your good and for someone else’s!

First go to the App Store / Google Play and look for Rexona Move and download it.

Start off by picking the activity you’re going to be doing.

There’s a whole bunch to pick from, but due to my current state, only walking and shopping (WHAT IT’S EXERCISE TOO) are suitable for me right now.

So before you start moving, you start the app!

Untitled

Whether it’s at the gym, taking a walk, doing household chores or shopping, the app will measure the amount of distance you’ve covered and add it on to everyone else’s distance.

Errrr still 0 km for me fml.  I tried walking with it but I guess I covered less than 1 km hahaha.

Malaysian have really come together to make this happen by moving to reach Sarawak *3 weeks after launch* (please check on the map in the app and update the location reached before publishing your post ).

2) Do not stop moving as we are going to over hit the target and the more you move the more children you will help.

As of now, collectively Rexona Move users have covered 1,629.66km out of a targeted 10,000 km. (figuratively traveling the entire Malaysia)

The total distance will be turned into donations to help underprivileged children in every state in Malaysia.

When it comes to exercise and doing charity, most people say that they have no time. -_-  I iz also guilty of that sometimes haih.  So this is the perfect way of killing two birds with one stone!

rexona

By the time I’m publishing this post, we’ve already reached the target goal of 10,695km!! (meaning we reached Sabah from Perlis in just three weeks)

But we shouldn’t stop moving cos not only is it for a good cause, it’s also for our own health. ^^

For more info on the Rexona Move social cause, you can go here.  Don’t forget to download the app!

  • Wow, Rexona has a very good PR to come up with such creative campaign LOL. This is kinda tempting but since you guys already reach the target, so it means even if I download the app, my distances will not be able to donate to the little children? And, I didn’t know that shopping is a form of exercise. They should make it a sport as well HAHAHAHA. Just saying XDnnCelyx Limnwww.celyx.blogspot.com

  • Actually, I swam 3 times a week when I was pregnant. It’s low impact and about the only time you feel light on your feet from the 2nd trimester onwards. It’s pretty good cardio exercise. You can’t fall down in the pool haha.

  • Hahaha wah u so hardworking! I try to do it once a week la…
