I’m back!

(And half dead on my feet.)

Let me sum up the outcome of the day in a few concise sentences.

1. Because I’m allergic to sunblock, I have now turned a peculiar shade of gray, despite staying in the shade the whole day.

2. You see! Ask me to wake up at 4.45 some more la! As it happens, I took 5 naps during the day wtf. A nap each on the way there and back, 2 naps in the aircon tent (meant for the clients and agency [Dentsu]) and one nap sitting right behind the director, not caring who sees me.

Why am I like this! Sleep is to me what food is to Suet wtf. How can you expect me to be up and about at 7+ am what more 4am! The entire morning before lunch I was like a zombie – as expected. I stayed in one chair behind the director and her tv screen and struggled to stay alive wtf.

When at last I couldn’t take it anymore, I went inside the aircon tent and found the client inside snoring. When I came in, he woke up with a start and explained “I just came back from Europe very jetlagged.”

Wtf nobody asked also! Wanna sleep then sleep la give so much excuses for what hahahaha.

Then when I woke up (just in time for lunch), I went out and announced to the world that the sleep did me a lot of good and I was plenty fresh and awake now.

But after eating a big lunch, I felt sleepy again and went back into the tent to sleep -_-”

Then later in the evening I slept again this time on the beach in an uncomfortable plastic chair. Luckily nobody scolded me, I only heard people mutter “Wah I wish I could sleep anywhere like her.” wtf.

3. That’s why I don’t have that many pictures, that and also because my camera battery let me down T.T

Early morning. It kept raining on and off during the day which pissed me off. If there’s something I hate worse than wind, it’s rain. Or maybe sun wtf. I guess I’m not a nature person.

Now I know why shoots always take so long. Cos most of the time is spent waiting!

Wait for the crew to set things up, wait for the makeup and hairstylist to make up the talent, wait for the sun to come out, to go in, for the rain to stop, for the wind to blow in the right direction..

Wait for the cameraman to adjust the camera, wait for the light to stop overheating wtf, wait for the talents to repeat the scene over and over until the director is satisfied..

I was so super tired (from sleeping all day wtf) that I said to Eileen and Felicia “tomorrow I don’t feel like going to work la” then I gave them meaningful looks but they didn’t get it and said “it’s okay you can come in to work a bit later.”

Dang!

P/S:  How wonderful it was to go to the beach with people who don’t wanna get a tan T______T Felicia and Vidya were slapping on sunblock spf50++ left and right and Vidya was actually wearing a jacket and I was so touched T_____T Because the last time I went to the beach, Trey and Neal yelled at me the whole time and snatched away my sunblock and dragged me out into the sun and water with them T_______T
