#3: 16 February 2009
I found this earring in my jewelry box the other day and I had forgotten all about it.
I only have one side and Angela has the other. We always buy things in a pair and split it between us. Because we are two equal halves:)

I should talk about my birthday!
I stayed up late the night before because I got into a fight on MSN with somebody for 2 hours wtf.
Then the next day (on my birthday) I woke up feeling very sleepy and grumpy. Not enough sleep and some more when the clock struck midnight the night before there was no sound from either of my parents and I had to go downstairs to look for them to ask them “eh what time is it now” before they remembered and said happy birthday -________-
Anyway I woke up feeling tired and grouchy and simply pulled a white shirt from my closet because it was unworn. Thought to myself, never mind la tonight only going to have dinner with Tim not like I’m having a party also no need to wear so nice wtf.
Went to work like it was a regular weekday (which it was)
And they got me a cake! /boo/boo/boo
They call me Fourfeetnine too hahahahaa
Then everyone went back to work wtf.
And none of my best friends wished me WTF.
Suet and Ooib called me up through Skype from Moho and Germany and wished me!
And Angela messaged me on MSN in a tizzy because she forgot how to count the time difference and thought she missed my birthday wtf.
But no calls or messages from Tze or Jam:(
I saw Tze online and messaged her “Hey thanks for wishing me happy birthday” WTF damn thick skinned and she said I was going to call you! And then she said brb she needs to finish making her Valentine’s present *gloom
So I felt damn thick skinned and didn’t want to call Jam to remind her wtf.
I thought oh well cos I have trouble remembering people’s birthdays too and besides I didn’t remind anyone it was my birthday so no wonder people forgot.
Then I had a shitload of work cos I was on MC the last week for food poisoning.
So I only got off after 8pm T________T
Tim picked me up and brought me for Japanese food (my favorite!) to celebrate.
I was damn tired by then and didn’t really feel like talking but he was already taking me out to eat! Force myself to be more cheerful.
Playing with my shrimp. Never realized how disgusting raw shrimp tastes until now.
To er eat away my sorrows I ordered three main courses T______________T Chirashi sushi, soba and garlic fried rice. And finished none of them T_________T I forgot I had food poisoning and my stomach had shrunk aih.
Took damn long but Tim had a lot of patience! Although he kept walking away to answer mysterious phone calls jeng jeng jeng
Finally got to his house… and he asked me to open his door.
He NEVER asks me to open his door but I thought since he was carrying my bag he didn’t have hands for it wtf.
So I opened the door…and the house was all dark. But then I saw shadows of something on the wall.
And I said “ooo balloons!” (thinking he put up balloons so I would feel more festive about my birthday wtf)
And everybody in their hiding places paused for a while, wondering what they should do wtf.
Then Tim flipped on the lights and that was the cue for everyone to jump out and shout “SURPRISE” T_____________T
I was so surprised T___________T
At first I saw all the Nuffies hiding at the stairs and I still thought Tim asked them to hide there to make me feel better wtf. Like he planned this last minute -_______-
But then I saw Jammie and Litat! And my parents! And Leroy and Eeflin! (wah shocker wtf)
They gave me this cake! Hello Kitty <3333333333333333

Then Tim made all of us sit down and said he had a very important announcement to make.
(I thought he was going to resign from Nuffnang WTF)
And Pinky turned out the lights and played this video:
And I cried like Angela’s ex boyfriend Mike WTF.
I was so touched. It was the effort of the whole thing…. how everyone who didn’t even know each other came together to help plan and make this whole surprise party happen.
I cried for my friends who weren’t around and whom I missed terribly.
And I cried for the person who started all this, and who made me feel so so special:)

Mother secretly dug out all my old photos with Tim for the video and even snarkily said on the morning of my birthday “Birthday night also spend with Tim la don’t wanna spend with us” WTF knowing full well that she was going to be at my party. it must’ve been a lot of effort to organise this, especially when not everyone know each other.. surprises are the hardest to organise! i tried organising surprise bday parties for my bf a few times and it is EXHAUSTING! lol.
