*long entry warning*

Some of you were right!

It was Jewel Pink Yellowglen champagne!

And there were balloons tied to the champagne!

So what happened was…

He picked me up after work.  I was fretting over having to leave a little earlier than usual and still thinking about what I had left to do on Monday.  So I was actually quite stressed and er not very excited over whatever he had in store for me *shifty eyed

And he was grinning like a kid throughout the whole car ride!  He kept asking “where do you think we’re going? where where?” and I was too tired and I could only say “are we going to sit on a ferris wheel” WTF I dunno why!  Maybe in my narrow chick lit-fed mind the only out-of-normal romantic thing I could think of was ferris wheel cos Sze Jiann and Minami went on one in Osaka before.  And so did Angela and Masato!

(Actually so did I on the same Osaka ferris wheel!  But with a very big and smelly asshole aih FML story for another day)

Then he turned into Bangsar.  And I noticed him looking out of the window in anticipation.  So I looked out too but didn’t see anything (actually I was half expecting a hot air balloon spelling my name or something wtf)

Parked in Bangsar Village, then he dragged me out onto the Telawi Streets.

And stopped outside the staircase leading up to one of the 2nd floor stores.

There was a sign in front of it.

It said: VIP Shoes Shopping Experience.  Enjoy the experience!  and then under it, “Princess Audrey”

And then he and 2 girls from RedRibbon Days (which is the company he engaged to help plan this surprise) bundled me upstairs to the store.

And this is what I found waiting for me!  A basket with flowers, a champagne bottle, plastic champagne glasses with Hello Kitty phone chains in them, and balloons!!

So anyway, the surprise, according to the RedRibbon Days girls, Nik & Sherin, was that Tim had booked the whole store for me to shop and be personally assisted by the designer, Anusha.

The whole purpose was to give me a VIP shopping experience so I would feel like a celebrity where they clear out the store so I can shop in peace and drink my champagne wtf.  I would have the store to myself for one hour to try on and play with shoes and at the end I could choose 3 pairs of shoes to take home with me (!!!!!)

I said “oh….okay.”

I was confused!  I was thinking why must close the whole store for me I don’t get it wtf.  And what if they don’t have shoes my size because I’m a size 3.  Or what if I can’t find 3 pairs I like?  And what if I don’t have enough money to pay for them WTF.

So I just said “oh….okay.”

And Tim turned to Nik and asked “eh is this normal is this the reaction other girls give when they receive this surprise”

And Nik said “no usually they cry and hug their boyfriends/husbands and tell them they love them”

Tim said “ya my girlfriend is not very loving” WTF

I was just confused ok!!! T______T Not that I wasn’t happy or grateful T_________T *feet shuffling.  Anyway whatever la I already paid him back in kind WTF.

So I tried on the shoes…

And played with the balloons…

And took camwhore shots…

And more shots I made Tim take…

And we drank the champagne…

And I tried on more shoes and drank more champagne…

Some of the shoes I tried on.  They actually have my size *teary eyed

No wonder the other day he said very casually, “eh you told me before right that you don’t like buying Vincci shoes… why ar?”

I thought, no I never told him that before wtf he probably read it from one of my old entries.  I told him “ya cos very mainstream.  And don’t have my size” *holding grudge

But actually he was trying to figure out my taste in shoes!  I never told him I like shoes either but he figured it out cos I have dozens of pairs of shoes and only two bags wtf and girls either like BAGS or SHOES.  So he guessed I’m a shoe person!

Quite smart ar he!  I always told him he has terrible taste in girls WTF but his taste in women’s shoes is surprisingly quite sophisticated *sayangs

I got two pairs from the picture above (and another pair of flats to be practical).  I asked him which 3 pairs should I pick and in my mind I already knew what I wanted.  And he chose the 3 I like best!  So smart *sayangs more

Later Vincenzo in Bangsar for dinner.

So that was my surprise!  I was very touched and overwhelmed actually T___________T I didn’t think I deserved anything like this lor cos there wasn’t even an occasion for this *cries

And now I keep thinking if I ever wanna give him a surprise I really really have no idea what to do for him!  What can top this?  Close off a video game store and ask him to choose Xbox games ar WTF.  Hire a stripper? Rent a bank vault and let him bathe in money? WTF

But…I don’t think I’ll ever forget this experience:)
