They’re just from everywhere and don’t really tell a story, just snapshots of Vegasventures so far wtf.

This is the first time we’ve gone on holiday and not brought a proper camera out with us!  Actually I did bring my camera, but it stayed in my suitcase the entire time too heavy to bring out T_T And the iphone proved adequate plus got photo editing apps so all’s good with it ^^

They say Vegas is the adults’ Disneyland and I used to think sure boh got so fun or not because I don’t really like gambling ok and I love Mickey Mouse wtf but after being here a few days I have to agree!

It’s not so much about gambling, or shopping or whatever, but essentially, reality is suspended here.  Everything here is so outrageous and in your face that that nothing seems real and we’re all just here to have fun and putting off our real lives lolol.

The Bellagio ^^

 

The famous Bellagio fountain show ^^ They played Time To Say Goodbye and the fountains danced according to the music and I nearly cried cos it was so beautiful T___T

A reader, Rachel, emailed me and asked to meet up in Vegas because her boyfriend Anthony wanted to meet the meme proposal couple hahahaa.

I never met readers before besides in the US this time because dunno it’s like how often am I here!? So we met up with them and they turned out to be awesome people 😀 😀 Happily all of us clicked and so we spent nearly our entire trip together hahaha.  In Vegas, the more the merrier!

Fatty and I were getting a little lonely anyway.

Plus now got other people to take photos of us HAHAHA.

This was at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant whom I’ve never heard of but Fatty says apparently he’s some famous chef/restaurant guy?

 

The Stratosphere!  Tallest building in Vegas and they have this thrill ride where you get to go all the way to the top and jump off it D:  Anthony wanted to go on it so we went to have a look.

It’s a controlled fall, as in the rope holding you will  lower you so it’s not as bad as free-falling screaming all the way down but still!  In the end Anthony chickened out hahaha.  Actually all of us chickened out.  When we were in the cab nearby and I saw it, my legs felt weak already I think if they forced me on I might have killed someone wtf.

Also went to the aquarium at Mandalay Bay.  This fish is the dumbest looking fish I’ve ever seen hahaha.

Big googly surprised looking eyes check, weird chunk on forehead check, pouting big lips check fhl.  The only thing he has going for him is his nice blue color.

We said it was a pre-honeymoon, but we just counted how much money we spent on this trip and we can’t afford another trip for some time after this T___T  So this is for sure our honeymoon hahahha.

Food and transport and tipping is actually really expensive!  More expensive than Japan leh I think.

Desert view.  Vegas is actually in a desert but you forget that inside the Strip.  Quite amazing when we drive out and see the desert landscape.

See the clouds!  Don’t normally see these small puffy clouds in Malaysia one right.  They look like clouds from a cartoon haha.

If you’ve been reading my blog since my Mount Holyoke days, you’d know that this was my favorite drink ever!!!!!!!!!!

Every chance I got I’d drink this hahaha.  It’s sweet but not too sweet which is why I can take tons of it and not feel sick.

At the Zappos office where Fatty died and went to heaven.  Or became a king wtf.

We took a tour of the office and it was really quite cool!  A lot of creativity, personalization, and the entire office seems nuts in a good way.  I’m sure Fatty will be blogging about it haha.

Beatles Love Cirque Du Soleil T____________________T

I nearly orgasmed when I saw the ad for this HAHAHAHA.

Beatles is my most most mostest favorite band ever T__________T So this was a Cirque Du Soleil performance set to Beatles music and recordings of the members’ talking.

I sat on the edge of my seat the entire time and I was so happy I thought my heart would burst wtf.

Unfortunately I was the only one who thought so wtf.  Fatty didn’t know most of the songs and Rachel and Anthony were expecting like Chinese acrobatics so they were disappointed aih.

I felt that way the first time we watched Cirque Du Soleil also!  But after you get over the expectation that they will do magical acrobatics and accept that the show is not just about that but the costumes, music and dancing as well it’s very nice.

Ice cream at a place called Ice Pan.  They make the icecream in front of you.  They take like prepared liquid shakes and pour it on the circular pan and it literally freezes within seconds 😀

Also, the Korean guy working here is fucking cute WTF.  Some more arms and shoulders all toned from making icecream hahahaha.  I forgot myself and stood in front ogling him while time stood still wtf.  Then Rachel came up behind me and said “isn’t he so pretty!?” and both of us stood there and stared at him hahahahaha.

I think the most he could be is 18 though am I a pedophile if I look like a kid myself? Lolol.

Awesome diner style food!  Look at Fatty’s sandwich I think there’s a cow and a half (or a cow and a calf hahaha) in there.
