Dunno why Cheesie and I have been getting all these best-friend ads/gigs recently! But we’re not complaining yo it’s always more fun to do it together than by yourself. 😀
About a month back we got to film a video for Olay as 10 Minute Witnesses!
Olay Regenerist has the Money Back Guarantee thing going on (basically putting their money where their mouth is) so Cheesie and I got the chance to be involved in a video where we test out Olay Regenerist Wrinkle cream for you to see.
I am so bad at doing videos I don’t even. T___________T
Close up of my elbows WTF.
Hahahahah I wanted to test it out on somewhere with huge wrinkles and elbows are perfect ok! It’s not weird at all wtf. Obviously you normally use it for your face, this is just for demo purposes.
You can really see the difference.
I suddenly had really soft smooth elbows lolol.
Cheesie did it on her hands. #Notbad.jpg
Secretly jealous cos she ingeniously thought of that body area before I did. The result is quite spectacular. We knew Olay works but we were also impressed wtf haha if you get the chance, try it.
We also had an appearance on Bella on NTV7 to talk about beauty and anti-aging and our experience as Olay Regenerist 10 Minute Witnesses!!
Foruchizu professional-looking or not! We suited up for it.
I call this my Hilary Clinton look. Power suit plus curled short blond hair lolol. Lace skirt and diamante peplum top are both from Foruchizu.
With host Elaine Daly. She referred to us as beauty bloggers! I’ve never really identified myself as a beauty blogger but ok I’ll take it!!!! Malaysia, acknowledge me!!!! lol.
She said we both look super young (although we are really not, we just take really good care of ourselves) and asked us for tips as well as what products we use on ourselves. One of the products we both use recently is the Olay Regenerist so we talked a little while about it. Then they played our video omg jeng jeng jeng.
Okay lah since I am a certified married auntie now, here are some tips. Most are common sense la but whatevs.
1) ALWAYS use sunblock. I don’t know how many times I’ve stressed this but sunblock will go a long way toward protecting your skin from freckles/age spots, wrinkles and sun damage!
2) Don’t ever rub your eyes because the skin there is super fragile. You’ll only create more wrinkles there. I usually violate this rule every morning because I somehow only feel awake after I rub my eyes fml.
3) While you’re at it, don’t scrub your face with a towel after washing either. Simply pat it dry
4) If you’re in your midtwenties or more, you may start checking out anti-aging products as they usually have huge moisturizing properties which will help your skin as you age.
One of the products Cheesie and I both use recently is the Olay Regenerist Anti Wrinkle cream so we talked a little while about it. We explained how to use it and how it’s incorporated into our daily beauty regimes. =Then they played our video omg jeng jeng jeng.
Elaine Daly was so interested she asked where she could get her hands on it please! I think the producers gave her a bag of Olay products afterward too.
So that was our national TV stint!
Oh ya first picture very demure. Second picture my true self comes out wtf.
If you’re interested in winning your battle with wrinkles, Olay Regenerist Anti Wrinkle cream can be found in most pharmacies.

You marked up the price in foruchizu so high with the exact same piece of dress that was sold in Twenty3 online blog shop(which it’s owner obviously related to you) with one selling at 149 at foruchizu and another at 69 at twenty and claimed that those dresses flew in from Japan. double the price! Utterly disappointed and feel so cheated,So much so of being supportive to foruchizu.
Tested on elbow? Seriously?
yea. like i said, this was for demonstration purposes, and of course it should be used on your face. which part of that did you not understand?
hello, that’s quite a serious accusation you’re leveling at us. thanks for bringing up your frustration cos it gives me the chance to reply you. nnfirstly, sherlyn & i do talk and neither of us are aware that we stock the same piece. i also went to her website & fb to have a look and i see nothing that is similar to foruchizu. but maybe i missed it. do you mind sending over the link or describing the item?n
2ndly, i think you’re mistaken because we never claimed those dresses flew in from japan. i’m sorry if i’ve misled you but that wasn’t my intention. if i wanted to let people think the stock was from japan i wouldn’t have posted sketches from our manufacturer right? (http://fourfeetnine.com/2012/11/07/foruchizu-update/) i also would not have clarified where our stock was from here: http://www.formspring.me/4feet9/q/402737392693298589nn
3rdly. we did say many times that this is a collaboration with isetan. while we dictate the style & direction of items, isetan manages everything else. since isetan is our partner, pricing is not solely up to us. it’s also up to them if they want to add on to our stock with their own sources & manufacturer.n
4thly, if it was a piece with the same design, that is very common in the fashion world. we got our inspiration from japanese brands, whose factories are in china. most wholesale stock also comes from china, so naturally there will be similar items. the fashion world follows trends, e.g. isabel marant came up with sneaker wedges but now aldo is selling sneaker wedges like isabel marant too.would you scold isabel marant for charging 10x more than aldo?nn
what i mean is there will be similar stuff sold everywhere because in asia most fashion trends come from japan (which in turn get inspiration from europe wtf). the difference is the quality. if you think you can get something similar elsewhere for cheaper and label doesn’t matter to you, go ahead. 🙂
I really want this product!!nI think you’re good in videos! & your skin, hair and outfit look amazing!
Are you kidding me when you said nothing similar? It’s on twenty3 Facebook cover page.Aint it obvious?
You girls always look so cute together!
OMG i won!! Thanks for picking me Audrey <3nMy email is celesteeny@hotmail.com.nCan‘t wait to slap it on and pretty like you and Cheesie 😀
oops why was i not signed into my NNX! anyway just wanna say thanks again! <3 <3
You and Cheesie are so cool. Hopefully one day I’ll be on a TV show too, that’s one of my goals 😀 http://www.roros-world.com
you will get there!
congrats!!
sorry i missed that. tbh i didn’t even know that we had that because like i said before, isetan supplemented our stock with other sources of their own. after your comment i had to talk to the isetan team before i found out we had that piece.nneither way, my points in previous answer still stands. with the cost & quality we got it for, no way we could have sold for rm69. you get what you pay for.nnp/s: if you act less belligerently, im sure it’s easier for ppl to be polite to you 🙂
awww thank you!
i think the other reader made a valid point. n1) When Furuchizu started up, all readers were made believe every single item were picked by u guys n its “smthg u would wear urself”. so what’s the crap now about Isetan stocking without informing u? any idea how many readers bot bcz they believe in ur fashion sense? If we had only wanted a label, there are much more established brands around. n
2. I thot principe of Furuchizu was to bring affordable fashion to ur readers. Doesnt seem like it after i see the price range. I understand Isetan has certain say over individual item’s pricing but I do believe u have influence over the price range of this brand. Every brand is marketed to different groups and pricing is defined from the target market ain’t it?
1) when we started planning foruchizu, we didn’t have a collab w/ isetan. so when we said “sth we would wear”,we meant it. and we meant it especially when it comes to quality – we didn’t want to sell any piece which quality we would be ashamed to sell. like i said, the isetan collection is a collab so they have 50% of the say. which means that if they want to add to the collection they have the right to. we dictated direction, style & key pieces and they ran with it, and i think collaboratively, it was a great effort.
i’m really sorry if we were misleading but we are still learning about how things work in retail departments & things are not always what they seem to u, the customer. 🙁
2. i’m afraid this is entirely subjective. considering that it was a department store collab. & we had prime business space, we did market research & we even questioned customers who came about the prices and everyone said it was reasonable. so you thinking it’s too expensive is entirely your own opinion, which you are entitled to. but if you’re comparing to similar pieces found on blogshops, u should remember to take into account the quality (which you can’t see online).
we also did have 2 different ranges – a more casual and lower priced range for students, and a higher range with more glamorous wear, office suitable pieces & more structured clothing for an older audience. i’m not trying to be snooty or defensive, but i think that if you’re perfectly okay with blogshop quality and prices, that’s totally fine and you should go with it! different people just have different priorities & standards for spending ma.
hi, just thinking which sunblock product would you be recommending….for good coverage? 🙂 trying to find one which is not greasy after applying, and able to act as concealer..so that i don’t need to apply that many layers. =P haha
Maybe there is but I’ve never heard of a concealer that comes with SPF lol. Usually it’s a base or bb cream or tinted moisturizer that comes with sunblock. Maybe you can try those?
One thing is – Olay should redesign the STUPID bottle it comes in! Always the last amounts of cream cannot come out one!
Yea and cannot open it to get the last of it right!
Hi, Aud, this is Amelie Yap.. Just go to read ur blog..ncan i still collect the prize?nthis is my emailnlooking forward for your replynay_Pc@yahoo.com
