Hsin and Ang Moh get hitched

Felt like writing a thoughtful introspective post but… no time!!! Heading to Singapore tomorrow cos Fatty has some work as well as to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday.  Just finished packing only, and the entire day I was running around doing some last minute errands and picking up groceries for dinner which I forgot to order from Tesco… as well as attend the Expedia Awards (more on this later!).  Luckily Fatty was nice enough to pack his own stuff so I only had to worry about mine and Fighter’s.

Fighter’s one extra mafan this time because I’ve started him on solids so I had to pack his cereal and eating utensils in addition to his clothes and milk bottles.

Anyway just a quick one hor.

Last weekend we attended the wedding of one of my oldest and dearest friends (whom I’m still close with la wtf).  We met in Standard 3 but only became close in Standard 5 because we joined marching band together (yea you bet we were popular wtf).

She lives in Perth now with her husband and we only probably get to meet once a year when she comes back but she’s the kind of friend who even if we never meet, whenever we do it’s like we never were separated!  She hasn’t changed (at least I don’t think so) and even if I have, it’s as though I revert to my fourteen year old self around her.

We’ve been friends so long that our families know each other quite well also and she invited my parents and Ooib too!  In fact our entire table was made up of my family (except for another friend and her husband who thought I thickskinned brought along my whole family and take up a whole table fml).

I had the worst seat at the table wtf. *crosses arms. This was taken by Fat Her, my view was actually of that floral stand thing on the left wtf so I couldn’t see anything.  Funny because it’s my friend ok hahahaha.  But I wanted to sit there so I could keep Fighter in a corner and he wouldn’t make noise.

It was definitely one of the nicest, most intimate weddings I’ve ever attended!  Cos it was only 10 tables, everyone there was either a family member or a close friend so the vibes and atmosphere was so warm!

Here’s us doing the yam seng!  The actual wedding was held in Perth and this was more of an introduction/announcement dinner to friends and family back home so there were no bridesmaids.  So all the close friends got pulled up to do yam seng!  My first time leh, I’ve only been a bridesmaid once (for Bobo) and that time I had to leave early cos Kim and Gareth’s wedding was on the same night so I literally divided myself into two for both weddings.

Congratulations Hsin and Ang Moh!!! So happy for you both and I know this is forever.  May you both have an abundance of love, laughter, kindness, and if you want, kids in your lives. Hehehe.

P/S:

Totally unrelated but Fatty and I are trying to rent out our house because it’s too big for us just yet.  It’s a semi detached colonial style house in a gated community called Mesra Terrace (5 minutes away from Publika), 4 + 1 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms. 3700+ sq feet build up.

Semi furnished. Living and dining areas are furnished, as is the kitchen which has an oven and a fridge. No beds but built in closets for all rooms.

PP/S:

Saw quite a few people on Instagram asking about my shopping experience at Tesco Online. My experience has been really positive so far; do you guys have anything to share about your experience? I’m sure Tesco would want some feedback on how they’re doing. 😀

  • Ordered thru Tesco Online the other day and everything was fantastic!

  • I tried Tesco Online for the first time before CNY. Was so gungho after reading about your experience. After ordering and confirming, I had a change of heart cos I keep thinking I can save that RM10 and just drive to the physical Tesco (which is only 5-10 minutes away, hahaha). nnBut I love the concept. Cos I can pick and choose stuff at my own leisure at any time and not rush like mad while at the market (mum guilt) or run back & forth if I forget things. nnAlso, that house looks lovely.

  • Fighter is getting more and more goodlooking 😉 n

  • Fighter is getting cuter by day. Haha.. I actually love wedding banquets like these! Very warm n personal ^^ and your house! It doesn’t look like it’s in Malaysia at all! so nice!nnhttp://tenshichn.blogspot.com/2014/03/052-putrajaya-6th-international-hot-air.html

  • I’ve ordered a couple of times from Tesco Online and all experiences were great but my most recent order stands out! I booked the 12-2pm slot for Saturday but had a really late night the night before so I couldn’t wake up ಠ_ಠ So the delivery guy waited for 30-45 minutes outside my house (while occassionally calling me) and when he finally got me, he was still super pleasant!! T.T Smiley and thanking me for ordering even though I made him wait for so long. Super love the service and will definitely keep using it 😀 & I’ll probably slots that are later in the day next time /.\ #guilty

  • for some reason, fighter looks soooo similar to your daddy to me, aud!! aaarggh!! VERY lovely picture of grandpa & grandbaby.

  • wow that’s a nice story! last week I went out forgetting I had a Tesco delivery and the guy delivered the groceries to my maid and came back later for the payment when I was home. I was very impressed too!
