All I want for Xmas

Ever since we got married I’ve been wanting to redo our apartment!

Right now our apartment is all done up in neutral beiges and browns which is nice but not very us lah I feel. T_T

Fatty says he’s entirely ok with it but because it was decorated way before I came into the picture if can I’d like to have to have my own personal touch on it! I’d always envisioned my home to be all white wood furniture and cabinets with lace curtains and floral table cloth. Ya I know.. super Liz Lisa right? So contrasting with my fashion taste hahaha.

But oh well I think I’ll die first before ever getting that. I didn’t even bother asking Fatty if we can do it like that cos sure get a big fat resounding NO. But the next best thing would be to do it in shades of white and red I think! Not too feminine but still pretty enough for me!

I went out and bought a bunch of decorative and storage items from Ikea to get started on Home Improvement 101.

Pretty white storage bins! And ok I went a bit crazy in the frames section.

Black frames and red boxes for contrast.

And it stops there wtf. Save money a bit first, also cos our home is actually perfectly nice now a bit wasteful to redecorate too much. T__________T

A girl can always dream… my favorite magazine next to Japanese fashion magazines is Ikea’s catalogue LOL.

When I was younger and I went to Ikea with my parents I used to wish we could just stay there wtf.

There’s just something about the way Ikea sets up their homes. :’)
