Today, while on the drive from Oakland (a city near San Fransisco) back to Sunnyvale which is where we’re staying this time, Fatty and I were playing “Would You Rather”, one of our favorite games. Actually it’s more like my favorite game because it’s hilarious watching Fatty struggle between two disgusting options and get angry hahahaha.
Anyway this particular installment of “Would You Rather” got me thinking. The answers that me and Fatty both gave were damn different. Either opposites attract with us, or it’s just because we’re both different genders.
Here’s a few questions. See how you reply compared to us?
Q: Would you rather cheat Angela (whoever your best friend is) of a significant amount of money, say, ten thousand dollars (or a million if she’s really rich), or steal her husband/boyfriend? -Fatty
A: Not even a tough choice. If I really had to pick, of course I’d cheat her of money wtf. The reason being that I think she would be a lot less hurt if she knew I took her money rather than if I stole her husband wtf. Plus if she already has to deal with betrayal, at least it’s only me betraying her, and not me AND her husband.
Also, money can be replaced easily, but not the broken trust. If I really felt guilty after that I could always replace the money. Husband also not so easy to find back wtf.
Fatty’s answer: I asked him the same question, except instead of Angela, he would have to cheat Ming. He answered he would rather steal his girlfriend WTF. According to him, stealing a wife/girlfriend is more acceptable than stealing money. He can’t imagine his friends hanging out with him again after knowing that he’s stolen money from a friend. Nobody wants to be friends with a thief, while we can accept that sometimes people just fall in love. Guys, what are your thoughts on this?
Q: If your significant other were to cheat, would you rather they cheat on you with a string of prostitutes/gigolos (FYL) or have a regular mistress/boyfriend?
A: A mistress. Although obviously not something I’d like, I think it’s normal for couples to drift apart, and maybe fall for someone else. Both scenarios already involve cheating (which is morally reprehensible) so that aside, falling for someone else is still something that happens everyday and that doesn’t mean that my partner is a bad person (the cheating aside). Also, maybe if he cheated because I neglected him or whatever, it seems like something more handle-able and I could still try to fix things. If I felt it could be salvaged, I would probably still make myself try to work it out with him, but again if he had a mistress, he’d probably want a divorce wtf.
But if he was seeing prostitutes, it’s not likely that we won’t divorce either. Patronizing prostitutes is goes against my principles so I wouldn’t even be able to respect a man who I know regularly visits brothels. Want to try also how if I cannot respect him? Plus if he goes regularly, it’s possible that we’re dealing with a psychological addiction here which will obviously be difficult to overcome. Also prostitution is not legalized in Malaysia, so I have no idea what medical support or laws hookers are subject to so who knows how many STDs will be passed to me and my kids!? How to tolerate if it endangers our health wor.
Fatty’s answer: He said he would rather tolerate the gigolos WTF. Basically, he would rather his SO have a one night stand, and get it out of her system than have a constant partner outside whom she could get emotionally involved with. I asked, what if it’s a constant string of gigolos? He said as long as it’s all different gigolos WTF. His reasoning is that if she was emotionally attached, it would be like having a relationship with an empty body because the mind and heart are far away. If it was only casual relationships outside for her, it was possible that she still loved him and he’d still have a shot. If he loses her heart, he loses her forever.
Q: If your significant other left you, would you rather they left you for a friend of yours or someone you hate?
A: I’d rather they left me for someone I hate so I can then hate them both in peace, without conflicting emotions wtf. If it was a friend, I’d have to deal with TWO betrayals and lose a husband AND a friend. Sien. I don’t need the additional hurt and I want all my friends with me to get me through it.
Fatty’s answer: He would rather I left him for a friend than someone he doesn’t like. D: What sorcery is this. He said at least it’s someone worthy of his respect, thus he’s not losing me to someone lesser than him. It’s like “good game bro” *shakes hands wtf. By the same logic, he would rather lose me to someone better looking than uglier. Basically to a worthy opponent.
I, on the other hand, hopes whoever he cheats on me with is ugly and got ass acne so I can feel superior, and bitch about what shitty taste he has and how disgusting she looks. :X It would make me feel better!
So that’s about it. We had other idiotic questions too like would you rather eat poop or get sodomized HAHAHA but that’s not intellectually stimulating at all and just makes me look disgusting cos I came up with that question so we’re not going there.
From our answers, it looks like I’m more concerned with the amount of hurt I would have to suffer or inflict on someone else, while Fatty’s concern is the social stigma or social implications surrounding the situations. Is that typical of what men and women would answer? I dunno but I’m very curious.

Bathroom acccessories! Soap, lotion, etc. Also toilet paper rolls. I resolved to steal this on the plane WTF but chickened out.
Actually on the plane I did try to find their stock of toilet paper hahahaha. I opened the cupboards in the plane toilet but don’t have then after that the cupboard door couldn’t close FML. I fasterly fled back to my seat.
After checking in, we made our way to our boarding gate.

Dunno why nowadays I’ve been getting very quickly bored of my hair.

And now more purple!!!! Excuse the glasses it was a horrific two weeks of forced wearing of glasses FTS.
Ok Imma hijack this a bit and talk about something I’ve been considering for some time now – LASIK. I will go into more details later when I finally do it, but I was scheduled for LASIK surgery last Friday, so for two weeks before that I had to lay off contact lenses, as permeable soft contacts distort the shape of your eyeball. When you undergo LASIK, the eyeball needs to have rested enough to revert to its original shape so the surgery will be more accurate.
So. I had to tahan wearing glasses through… an entire trip to Singapore where I looked like a migrant worker standing next to Wendy and Qiuqiu and got randomly asked to help a reader take photo with Wendy probably because I looked like a stranger who doesn’t belong to their group hahahaha. A trip to Penang for Fatty’s dad’s birthday where we took a family photo and again I looked like an outsider next to pleasantly attractive people. Bobo’s wedding.
Needless to say, I drew the line at Bobo’s wedding and put on contacts at the very last minute, taking them off the minute I left. Really cannot do it la please some more got professional photographers and videographers plus a dozen iphones around!!! Don’t want to be the token ugly bridesmaid! Anyway I checked with the clinic and they said as long as not more than a few hours.
So two weeks of feeling horribly unattractive, then I went for my final eye checkup the day before the surgery.
Did a whole barrage of tests… then went for the doctor’s consultation.
The eye doctor looked at me sadly and went, “there’s something of concern here that you should know about….”
He suspected me of having either glaucoma or occular hypertension (abnormally high pressure in the eyeball, which is a big risk factor for glaucoma) because my eyeball pressure tested higher than the normal range. And glaucoma is the 2nd highest cause for blindness in the world. 
Surgery gets cancelled, I get called back in the next day for eight freaking hours of tests at the clinic to determine whether I really have glaucoma or not FTS. Occular pressure varies throughout the day so I had to undergo hourly testing to monitor my pressure then only can determine if there’s really a problem.
I panicked for a day or so, nearly cried when telling Fatty, called my dad to check his eyes because glaucoma is usually hereditary, and when I was alone, closed my eyes and tried to feel my way around, to practice what it would be like if I really went blind WTF.
Yalah sometimes I a bit dramatic.
Anyway did the eight hours of testing, and found out nothing is wrong with me.
Surgery canceled for nothing. Two weeks worth of wearing specs for nothing.
Scumbag eyes.
Anyway we rescheduled my surgery to January which means two weeks prior, I have to do the whole wearing-specs thing all over again. Aih Bad Luck Aud strikes again wtf.
But overall good luck la cos what if I really had glaucoma!!! *optimistic
Digression over. Back to hairy issues!
Another look at hair! Base color is beige I think, with lavender grey and pink strands thrown in. I also cut it a lot shorter.
The roots are supposed to be darker but doesn’t show.
Ahhhhhhhh. Every time I see my hair now, I wanna pick up the phone and thank Hikky again. Hahahah.
It looks different under different lighting! Under yellow light. Can see the purple streaks!
One thing is that the hair is so light that if I have no makeup I end up looking very pale. D: Lipstick is suddenly a lot more necessary too.

This was the eight hour eye marathon day. Dressed to be comfortable and even carried a neck pillow to sleep while waiting for the next test HAHAHAH.

What I wore for Bobo&Jo/Kim&Gareth’s wedding! Ninja-ed myself so I attended both weddings during the same night. 
Last picture. Aiya hair a bit oily here two days never wash plus got rained on HAHAHAH.
I wanted the color to stay longer so I went with two days unwashed hair to the wedding(s). Hikky was there because she did Bobo’s wedding makeup and she was done so she asked me to take a seat so she could help me style my hair too.
I told her I hadn’t washed my hair since she dyed it for me, and she was like “EHHH EHHHH” and instantly yanked her hands away from my hair HAHAHAHAHA. Some more she said all her customers who read my blog always say I very cute and look up to me (thank you!!! But her words, not mine) but actually the real Audrey is not cute at all HAHAHAHAH.

Filler post because nothing much really happened on our Day 3 of Taiwan.
Actually don’t know what to blog already cos just read Qiu‘s post on Day 3 and she already said everything hahaha.
On Day 3, we exited our hotel… and made a beeline for the bubble tea shop hahaha.
Actually I not interested in bubble tea so I stood by the side and snapped my own face wtf while waiting for the rest.
For lunch we went to this place! The entire time I actually had no idea what food this was because the three of them kept saying the name in Mandarin. If say in Canto or Hokkien I can still figure out if rice or noodle or what but with Mandarin I totally cannot! Then I saw Qiu say in her blog it’s oyster mee sua only I was like ohhhhhh wtf.

With Qiu! She every photo also look super happy one lo! I’m also happy eating my crispy chicken. Every time I pick a piece, sure got bone inside one hahaha. But this time I think it was a good piece. ^^
Sharing a bowl with Cheesie! To be honest it was okay only to me cos I don’t like soggy foods (except soggy fries!) After a while also I’d feel jelak eating it so good that we shared!
But I liked the authentic feel of it! Sitting on the roadside with no tables holding bowls like locals.

It was raining. And Wu Fen Pu is an outdoor shopping area. *sobs
Dampened my shopping spirit a bit because I become super aware of raindrops falling on my head. I think it’s because I have thin hair so the water drops uncomfortably right on my scalp wtf. But we tried our best!
Qiu bought the most I think like enough to fit a whole suitcase. O_O
Wendy also not bad la she and Qiu raped the 100 dollar racks and got quite alot of stuff! I damn lazy to go through one by one especially when water was dripping everywhere.
But got buy 1-2 pieces also la!
I saw the most amazing blinged white platform sneakers… and Wendy found an equally gorgeous pair…. but…. because nowhere in Taiwan seems to take credit cards…. we didn’t have enough cash and couldn’t buy them. T________T
Until today I still think about them. </3
Then off to look for dinner. The very rare toilet themed restaurant wtf. I knew there was a toilet restaurant in Taipei so every brown colored store we passed I’d think it was the toilet restaurant hahaha.

Hair was blown dry by my stylist Hikky anyway, not me wtf. I rarely go with this style because while my hair is naturally straight, it’s also fine and flyaway and I can never achieve this look on my own with a hairdryer >.>
So I always just curl my hair cos it’s easier for me! Adds volume too ^^

Then we also went to see a fortune teller because all of us are quite obsessed with fortune readings and we all desperately want to know how many babies we’ll have and what gender hahahaha.
Yea we’re at that age.
Have a vague sense of disquiet that this fortune teller wasn’t really the real deal though. Some of his predictions were accurate but others like a bit vague. ಠ_ಠ

Hello from Eva Air!!!
We flew on a weekday afternoon so the flight was so empty! We were quite sleepy (Cheesie and I flew to Singapore on a very early flight and Wendy is just sleepy all the time from her pregnancy haha. Qiuqiu I dunno I think she spent whole flight watching movies wtf) so we all took up whole rows and lay down to sleep. Best sleep on flight ever!
Actually I feel very badass doing this. Cos I’m a huge goody two shoes ok I follow ALL the rules. Wendy suggested we do it and she was very casual about it, having done it all the time, but deep inside my heart was beating fast and it was very exciting for me WTF.
Touched down and made our way to our hotel! It’s called AMBA, located in Ximending.
Quite cute one everything is named ‘something ba’ in it. Like restaurant is “Eat Ba”, hotel slipper is “Wear Ba” hahaha. I think Mandarin speakers would get it.
When at first I saw the hotel I was like “oh my god not another hipster hotel.” Because in San Fransisco, Fatty and I stayed at the W which is like the mother of all hipsters. Only purple UV light in the lobby, fat Buddha statue in the room, some W hotels so hipster until they have the bathtub in the middle of the room… and I hated it.
Luckily our hotel wasn’t like that hahahah.

Very minimalistic and simple, but I like that it’s done in shades of white and brightly lit! Very cosy and comforting to come back to.
Also like that the sink is outside so one of us can wash up at the sink when the other is showering.

Since we’re in Ximending (sounds like a rhyme) we quickly dropped off our stuff to go outside and hunt for street food for dinner!
First we found a beef noodle place for dinner. I really liked it I thought it was quite yummy! But Cheesie and Wendy said the soup very bland and tasteless and henceforth referred to me as Low Expectations Aud.
Qiu who doesn’t eat beef (not due to religious reasons, just tastebud reasons) had some sesame pork thing which she said was nice also. ^^
Lots of yummy yet weird looking street stuff! Nice.
The three of them are very grossed out because I like chicken feet. Why leh! The spices and sauce it’s cooked with very nice what! Plus it’s all crunchy omg my mouth watering just thinking about it. I also like eating cartilage. ^^

Ban chang kuih! I know because I grew up eating this. ^^ Not sure what it’s called in English but I think it’s made of sticky sweet dough…. with nuts and other filling inside. This one was very sweet and fresh.
Random Hello Kitty store that we walked into on Ximending. We went all snobby, like, “Pfffft whatevs we are going to the real Sanrioland in Tokyo to buy Hello Kitty.”
Then topped off the night with a nice cheap foot massage!
I guess we should have saved the massage for later on when we’ve walked miles touring, but we were trying to find something to do late at night and stumbled across the massage place.
Very shiok! Masseuses really knew their stuff. When they were adjusting their level of strength to suit us, Cheesie asked her masseuse how hard he was pressing. He said “level 2 out of 5”.
I was interested so I asked “mine leh mine leh?”
The masseuse said, “Yours? Level 0. I’m only tickling your foot.”

Just wanted to quickly blog about #Churpout2012 which was today!
It was my first time ever getting involved in a bazaar-like atmosphere where I got to sell clothes and meet readers!!!!
Before this I never dared to sell my clothes because they all look like salted vegetable please. If I really really like an item of clothing, I’ll wear it over and over again until it grows those small, fuzzy balls and looks gross. I just googled it and it’s called fabric piling. So I was always too pai seh to sell fuzzy ball clothes but lately I’ve been needing to buy more and more hangers, and my folded clothes all reached the top of the shelves and it was super annoying pulling things out to wear.
So sell I did today! Everything was priced astoundingly low, if I may say so myself. ^^ All the stuff I’d worn more than three times went into a bin marked RM10 for 2 so I didn’t feel guilt at selling crappy stuff, and most other stuff (maybe worn once or twice, or never worn at all with price tags) went for RM10-20!
The response was tremendous. Thank you guys so much for coming!!! Cheesie and I shared a booth because we also wanted to sell Foruchizu items as well and we were absolutely floored by the response. ^_____^

Our selling started at 9.50 while we were still setting up omg because a lot of people came early to pick the best stuff. You snooze you lose! Love you all!

Foruchizu!!!
It was quite crazy most of the time! I think we didn’t get to sit down from 10am until about 2 or 3pm cos we were too busy! I snuck two seconds to take a picture of customers browsing. 😀
ChurpChurp (Churpout organizer duh) thoughtfully provided cutouts of us for our booth! They also provided us with racks, thanks Churpies!

This was the reason why I was in Tokyo for two days last month.
Okla enough of that stupid face hahahahah.
We are soooooo damn lucky because we haven’t properly launched Foruchizu yet, but Isetan approached us to work on a special Isetan X Foruchizu clothes collection this coming December!
Basically Foruchizu will have a popup store from 30 November onwards for the whole month of December at Isetan KLCC! Just in time for Christmas and the festive season! The collaboration will feature items (including tops, skirts, dresses, outerwear, etc.) which have been personally selected or design dictated by me and Cheesie based on our own tastes 😀
The style is… basically whatever we wear normally. Cheesie is her usual fantastic fashion blogger style, while I tend to be a bit more casual and boyish.. I think. Fusing both our styles, we’ve come up with a collection that’s hopefully a little more mature and sophisticated, suitable for young women in their 20s, while still being cute. ^^
Super super exciting!
That’s why we were in Tokyo – to source for stock and to get inspiration for the Fall/Winter season. ^^
There will also be lots of events related to Isetan X Foruchizu happening in the entire month of December… so please block your calendar and make sure you’re in KL then! Hahahaha.

It’s Kose again!
Cheesie and I were invited to another Kose event, this time the media launch for Kose Infinity Prestigious range.

Kose events are usually very simple but with nice attention to detail. The launch had a pretty white baby grand piano. Photo posing time!

So many things to say about this picture!
1. Launch was officiated by Hara-san, the MD of Kose and Amy Mastura (dressed in gold)
2. Amy Mastura is the official Malaysian ambassador for Kose, specifically the Infinity Prestigious range. I am mad jealous of her can lolol.
3. The models are so good looking!!!! *wipes drool. Look at the one on the right! Sorry I got soft spot for baby faced boys what to do. He looks like a young Paul McCartney! *heart melts
Models were in charge of letting the guests test out the products. More on this later!

I love her! I think she’s the most adorable Malaysian celebrity cos she’s so bubbly and smiley. Damn funny also, at one point, the emcee asked the crowd, “Who likes Amy Mastura?” and Amy (who was sitting in front of us) tentatively put up her hand HAHAHAHHA.
That was when I fell in love with her hahaha. I waited after the event until all the reporters and media people went away then stalked her for a picture :X
Do you realize she’s 40!? She looks soooo good for her age leh I wanna look like her in 15 years. Actually she looks MY age now fml. All the Kose Infinity is definitely worth it lol.
